about us
The Jacob Barker Music Fest is an annual concert featuring live music from over 20 local bands supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The festival is only possible because of the performers, food vendors, community volunteers, and music fans who come out each year to enjoy the best of what Jackson has to offer.
Thanks to people like you, we hope the 7th Annual Jacob Barker Music Fest will make an even greater impact on our community.

Who is
JACOB BARKER?
The Jacob Barker Music Fest was created by Ronnie and Melissa Barker, the parents of Jacob Barker. At a young age, Jacob was diagnosed with retinoblastoma in one eye, receiving multiple surgeries to remove the cancerous cells. Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Jacob and his family received a trip to Disney World during this difficult time.
In response to this amazing gift, Jacob’s father, Ronnie Barker, sought to raise money for children within the Make-A-Wish program. In 2016, the 1st Annual Jacob Barker Music Fest collected over $8,000 for children awaiting the necessary funds to have their wish granted. Today, the Jacob Barker Music Fest continues raising money, fostering support, and increasing awareness for children facing life-threatening conditions.
Having overcome cancer, Jacob Barker and parents Ronnie and Melissa continue to reside in West Tennessee, impacting children in their community through the Make-A-Wish program.
